    The gray scale of outdoor rental LED display screens can also reflect the brightness of the screens. There are three levels of gray scale: 16, 32 and 64 level. To displaying the pictures and videos, all full color LED screens need to justify each gray scale. So how to control the gray level of the LED screens?

    1.Change the electric current;

    Normally, the LED modules allow 20 mA electric current goes through it continuously. Except for the red LED may have saturated phenomenon, all they other colors’ gray scale is proportional to the electric current goes through it.

    2.Pulse width modulation(PWM) way to control the gray scale;

    By taking advantage of the visual sluggishness of eyes, we can use pulse width modulation method to control the gray scales. That is to change the pulse width periodically. If the periodical time is short enough (also refers that the refresh rate is high enough), human eyes can not feel that the lighting pixels are shaking or moving. Then the gray scale of the outdoor rental LED display screens can be controlled.

    Nowadays, all the rental LED display screens are using computer to provide the pictures and videos, so almost all the screens are using PWM way to control the gray scale. It is one of the most advanced gray scale controlling ways nowadays.
